She managed a Human Resources team of 10 managers, generalists and recruiters. This team was focused on implementing fundamental processes and programs, which included a formal pay grade structure, behavioral based interviewing, HR dashboards and succession planning. Another key area of focus was creating an environment to cultivate a highly engaged workforce and a strong organizational culture. As a result, employee engagement scores at the hospital raised 7 points from 82% (2013) to 89% (2015) . The hospital was also the recipient of Chicago Tribune's Best Place to Work award for 2013, 2014 and 2015.
