In addition, I lead general external relations and marketing for Hudson Guild. Some of the Guild’s programs include:• Pre-school education including a full class of children from new migrant families this year.• Year-round support of elementary and middle school age children, including a daily after school program and a free summer camp • Teen services including academic and college access/success support, enrichment, and mental health support.• A full-service mental health clinic, which serves individuals and families of all ages.• Community Building projects including education and advocacy, direct cash assistance for families in need, and year-round events such as our Haunted House, Community Thanksgiving, Warm Winter Coat Drive, and Adopt a Family Holiday Gift Drive.• Older adult programs and services that enable members of our community to successfully age in place through numerous health and wellness and recreational programs, multigenerational programs, and basic needs support.• Community arts programming, which engages children and adults in year-round visual and performing arts production and appreciation.• Direct workforce development/employment support • Administration of the Westside Community Fund, a consortium of leading companies that has provided more than $850,000 in grants to improve our neighborhood.• Hudson Guild has recently been chosen as the Manhattan borough New York Connects provider to provide support, consultation, and referrals to individuals in need of long- term services and supports, individuals living with a disability, and their caregivers, and families.
