On a mission to make sustainability accessible to all and champion for those who steward and depend on the natural world; through paths of research, financing, place-based expertise, access and education, durable policy interventions, and reconnecting people with their environments.Originally raised in agriculture-dominated Central California, I now reside back in my home state, where I am exploring avenues in which we can collectively forge a more sustainable future. I am a Master's graduate from American University (M.A. International Relations) and the United Nations School for Peace in San Jose, Costa Rica (M.A. Natural Resources/Sustainable Development). Through this dual program, I focused my research on the intersection between agroecology, decarbonization, and policy interventions to establish durable farm justice. I believe that as the climate changes, our current approaches and perceptions surrounding our food system must change as well. With experience from the Arctic, to the Tropics, and Small Island Ecosystems, my current work with RMI aims to fight for actual emissions reductions while leveraging data, technology, and market-based tools for decarbonization.
