LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network with 400 million members in over 200 countries and territories around the globe.At LinkedIn, my primary method of assisting our members is via email. I am the point of contact in educating our members on LinkedIn's best practices, assisting them with any questions regarding their account and guiding them on how to make their profile [in]credible.In addition to my primary responsibilities, I'm trained in the following departments: Trust and Safety, Foreign Language, and Billing. I flex into these focus areas when the business needs coverage.As a LinkedIn employee, I've been able to grow in many aspects of my life. One project that I've been passionate about is called JumpIn, which is a teamwork/collaboration initiative within my business unit. The purpose of JumpIn was to create monthly team building opportunities. This project started as a pilot program but has since been integrated into our culture.

In this position, the majority of my time was spent handing the company's hardware assets. I generated reports using BMC Remedy, Crystal reports and Business Objects; based on physical hardware and database location. I also created and managed our hardware audit procedure for our corporate offices and branch locations. I assisted with the build out of our Asset Management console within BMC Remedy. In addition, I was the backup for our Software Licensing department. I had the ability to review and approve desktop software requests.

TD Ameritrade is an online broker for online stock trading, long-term investing and retirement planning.During my internship, I had the opportunity to assist the following departments:Problem Management |I generated IT service metrics based on high severity tickets using BMC Remedy and Crystal Reports. These reports included monthly dashboards for upper management in regards to Remedy tickets (Incident, Problem and Change management), workflows and system downtime.Capacity Management |In this focus area, I assisted with generating Key Performance Indicators (KPI) using KeyNote. These reports included our company rankings as well as server utilization. Asset Management |Utilizing BMC Remedy, I ensured the company's (corporate offices and branch locations) hardware was accounted for and tracked in the system properly. The hardware tracked included: desktop computers, servers, networking gear, and data center equipment. Software Licensing |I assisted with reviewing and approving desktop software tickets and ensured that all licensing information was accurate and documented properly.
