As an Experience Designer for UPMC Health Plan, I assisted in defining and implementing holistic, meaningful consumer experiences that responded directly to our user's needs. I achieved this by leveraging human-centered design and research techniques to understand the behaviors, activities, needs, and motivations of our diverse community, as well as assisting in communicating those needs across business units and collaborating with team members and key stakeholders. I worked as a User Experience Designer for BHiveLab, the innovation lab at Brunner. BHiveLab quickly evolved into the digital product development and technical consulting arm of the agency and is driven by a passion for great user experience design. My job responsibilities in this position included:• Helped spearhead the creation of Brunner's user experience team, with an understanding of existing agency philosophy and methodologies. A plan and overall process was established and then presented to the executive management team and all digital-focused employees. (Implementation and full agency roll-out in progress when I left)• Temporarily managed client communications, project timelines and UI/UX recommendations and deliverables for one Brunner's largest accounts. This client is a global provider of investment processing, investment management, and investment operations to institutions, private banks, investment advisors, investment managers, and ultra-high-net-worth families.• Evaluated user feedback and provided recommendations to a larger agency account in the form of user research, user interface design and user acceptance testing for the client's Corporate Innovation team for the successful creation and implementation of their internal knowledge platform.• Worked with start-ups in business planning and strategic positioning and helps move ideas from concept to commercialization through user-centered design solutions• Created wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas• Participated in regular kick-off meetings with management and other creative teams to discuss project objectives, strategies, and possible obstacles

I designed solutions to market 4CTechnologies, the companies’ two subdivisions 4CDesignWorks and 4CGeoWorks, as well as a multitude of clientele from all divisions. While working for 4C, I had experience working on projects from a variety of industries including start-up, non-profit, healthcare, AEC (architecture, engineering and construction), finance and education to name a few. Responsibilities included campaign concept and creation, web design and development, brand and identity design, exhibit design, internal branding and sales support.Projects from 4CDesignWorks, the interactive marketing and design division of 4CTechnologies, have received national awards from organizations including The Hermes Creative Awards, The American Graphic Design Awards, The Marcom Awards and The Videographer Awards.
