About Jacqueline Ou

An enthusiastic, approachable and keen K-6 trained Classroom and English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) teacher who loves working with children. I started primary school in Sydney, Australia speaking Cantonese at home. I remember how foreign and confusing everything seemed at the time without the ability to communicate or understand what the teacher was saying. This is profoundly why I believe in the importance of supporting EAL/D students to become confident learning in English while continuing their home language.
