Jacqueline Petty deeply believes in the importance of effective communication and its potential to harmonize the diverse elements of society. Petty's goal is to utilize her public relations skills to overcome communication barriers between cultures around the world. Prior to starting L&G, Petty was communications coordinator for The Atlanta Journal-Constitutio+n. Earlier marketing experience includes Zoo Atlanta, as the public relations coordinator and later the interim director of communications; publisher and editor for BeulahNews magazine; and contract PR positions with Edelman, the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Fluid Media Group. Petty graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communications and a Bachelor of Science in psychology, both from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa.
