As the Library Director at Menomonee Falls Public Library, I oversee the operations, budget, and strategic planning of a dynamic and progressive library that serves nearly 40,000 residents. I have over a decade of experience in public library management, with a focus on enhancing community engagement, promoting lifelong learning, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation among staff and patrons.I hold a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor’s Degree in Writing-Intensive English from Marquette University. I am also a Certified Professional in Human Resources from SHRM, with skills and knowledge in recruitment, talent management, onboarding and orientation, and performance management. I currently lead a team of 32 professionals. Additionally, I have a strong background in writing and fundraising, having secured multiple grants and donations for library projects and programs. My mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive library environment that inspires people to explore, learn, grow, and connect.
