Imposter patterns - is that still a thing? Sadly, yes it is. A woman who is doubtful might say things to herself like, "I just need to get through this .." "I feel constantly tired.." "I don't know what I want to do any more.." "Why me? What am I doing here? What will my colleagues think .. ?" These kinds of thoughts are signals. They let women know that something is off balance. This often occurs when:* When a career becomes less meaningful.* A change happens in circumstances or family dynamics.* Work that has become intolerable.* A difficult boss, hierarchy or work culture.* A promotion is in the offing.* Setting up your own business.A woman will often continue onwards, secretly doubting herself whilst wishing or yearning for some kind of change to happen to get back on track. To correct these kind of imbalances, women naturally look for support and safety to transform their outer circumstances, not always realising that their inner world is where all the best and most effective change happens. As a Storyteller and Trainer, I use the power of Storytelling as part of my work, because it's one of the best ways to unblock, get clear, understand who and what you are and, how to craft messages to connect with your audience. How do I know this? Having experienced severe bullying at boarding school and its long-term detrimental effects: The lack of belief in my abilities, or being validated, or seen for who I was, meant my self-esteem was very low. I came to the conclusion that being suicidely depressed in my teens and severly so in my middle twenties was wrong. This was the fuelled me to find out the root cause of my distress. As a result, I have spent over 28 years in the healing and well-being fields, trained in various modalities, became a storyteller, co-run retreats, and worked with top managers to train them for the executive level using story techniques."Jacqueline helped me to regain my self-worth and confidence at a time when I felt, exhausted, and without purpose. Jacqueline has huge experience and possesses an innate wisdom and understanding of people. I connected with her immediately and she made me feel safe, which was very important to me."
