I have spent the last 22 years supporting my husband and three children through our time in the United States Army. My husband being the only active duty member of our family, but my children and I devoted our lives to the military as well. We experienced living in eight states, five duty stations, and five deployments. There were many holidays spent apart, new friends, new places to explore, thousands of moving boxes, and a lifetime of memories. Developing people skills was not a luxury, but a necessity, as I navigated the unexpected, in the day-to-day instability of military life during twenty years of wartime.I was able to fit in education and training when I could and now that my husband is retired and settled in his new career on the Florida Space Coast, I can finally pursue the completion of my educational aspirations and hopefully secure employment in my desired field of business management and healthcare administration.
