Jacqueline A. Travisano is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Wake Forest University. With deep expertise in running complex organizations, she is the executive officer responsible for providing financial, people, facilities, real estate, and operational services that enhance the academic and student experience of faculty, students, staff and the local community. Dr. Travisano’s career encompasses more than three decades of service to higher education and non-profit organizations in optimizing the operations and national recognition of these institutions. Previous executive positions include serving the University of Miami (UM) as Executive Vice President for Business & Finance, where she led through the COVID-19 crisis and numerous climate related emergencies and significantly strengthened the UM financial position, and as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating officer and Nova Southeastern University (NSU) where she collaborated with academic leaders to improve NSU's rankings overall and in several specific areas. As Vice President for Business Affairs and Chief Financial Officer at St. John’s University, Dr. Travisano successfully directed the university’s finances during a historic global financial crisis. Dr. Travisano began her career in 1990 at Coopers & Lybrand.Dr. Travisano is a member of the Board of Directors of AutoNation (NYSE: AN), one of the largest automotive retailer in the United States on the Fortune 500 list of America’s largest corporations, and is Chair of its Nominating and Governance Committee.
