Established in 1993, Children's Theatre Company enhances students self esteem. It exposes kids to the performing arts in a non-competitive environment. This musical theatre program will incorporate the basic skills of dance, drama and music. It will help students with their daily social skills. All students receive a part in six singing and dancing numbers and will play the role of a character with dialogue. Our students learn through the rehearsal process.

Three Cat Education offers children and teens an opportunity to experience the world of theater and cabaret in a safe nurturing environment. Exploring musicals, plays, cabaret and show choir, our educational offerings teach kids the fundamentals of theater and performance as well as in venues throughout the Chicago area.

Ag47 is an arts mentorship program serving pre-teen and teenage girls in Chicago. We meet regularly from October to April to create and share art together.As a collective of women artists, we know that collaborative creation can help young women see their power as shapers of their community. Through mentorship, we have the opportunity to support young women as they develop an understanding of themselves as creators, commentators, and community members. By publicly sharing their work with the community, we communicate to our girls the value of their voices and give the community the opportunity to see these young women as the powerful, vital forces that they are.

American Mosaic is a 6-week residency program that will stimulate the next generation of diverse theater artists and audiences. Each year, ATC artists/CPS teacher teams will spend 6 weeks teaching 9th graders about an American classic in ATC's season. They will examine the play from literary and performance perspectives, exploring how the play relates to the students' identities as Americans. Each class will then rehearse and produce a different scene from the play, culminating in a showcase of the whole play on the set of the ATC production. After the final performances, students will see a free matinee performance of the professional production at ATC, and their families will be given free passes to see the play at any point during its run.

For almost twenty years, our Theatre for Young Audiences has been committed to producing quality plays and adaptations of literature for middle school-aged children from schools all over the Chicagoland area.Our Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) educational outreach program is proof that live theatre awakens the imagination as it challenges students to explore the complexities of literature, history and their world.The goal of our TYA series is to work, in cooperation with teachers, to bring curriculum to life, to assist in teaching the fine arts as mandated by the State of Illinois, to nurture an appreciation of theatre, and to correlate drama in “cross-curricular” activities.

The Dramagirls Program pairs middle school girls from Chase School in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood with female artist mentors in an intensive exploration of creativity and leadership. Founded on the principle that performing “powerful actions create powerful girls”, the program uses components of Redmoon’s unique form of spectacle theater making, such as stilt-walking, acting, ritual-making, drumming, and symbolic movements, to lead girls in the creation of an original production based on stories of their own lives. The program’s strong emphasis on mentorship allows the girls to foster unique and individual relationships with professional female artists whose expertise represent a variety of artistic disciplines, such as theater, dance, improvisational comedy, and classical music.

Triple G, an original piece by Aaron Holland, was first produced for Chicago's Abbie Hoffman Festival at the Mary Arrchie Theater. Emergency Theatre Company is currently in talks with investors to produce Triple G along with it's counterpart 5 Mo's Named Guy in a full workshop.
