·Collected patient information in order to identify and meet patient specific needs by reviewing medical history prior to sleep study, preparing me to meet my patients needs day of appointment. ·Individually setup, conducted and documented sleep data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals were artifact-free by calibrating and monitoring the sleep software which led to accurate results. ·Educated patient on baseline PSG and PAP therapy and orient the patient for either in center or at home sleep apnea testing by developing PAP therapy pamphlets and reviewing the information with them.·Applied head electrodes and body sensors to patient according to accepted published standards of the American College of Sleep Medicine to ensure the precise and accurate data. ·Independently performed routine positive airway pressure (PAP) interface fitting and desensitization with patients by observing sleep acquisition during the night. ·Documented routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.·Implemented appropriate interventions including actions necessary for patient safety and therapeutic intervention such as positive airway pressure, oxygen administration, etc. during sleep study by monitoring patients’ vitals during their sleep.

·Prepared and assembled over 80 medical record documentation and patient charts per day for the physician by reviewing medical history prior to clinic which led to efficient patient wait times. ·Updated patient history, physical exam and other pertinent health information in 80 patient’s EMR (Athena, Cerner, Epic) during physician’s clinic by prepping for clinic prior, which increased doctor patient hands on time and promoted patient satisfaction. ·Organized and prompted all documentation to physician for review by completing patient notes before the end of the week by increasing my typing speed, editing, and attention to detail, which allowed me to get ahead for the following weeks patient charting. ·Learned about the medical process and using a team approach in patient supervision and documentation by connecting with leadership to promote collaboration between colleagues to increase knowledge about practice. ·Teamed with a supervising Physician or Doctor to complete and submit medical records in a punctual manner to ensure patient satisfaction.
