Responsible for 1,500 gallon saltwater fish tank located in the Science Center of the Biology Department. Performs and oversees daily tasks which include feeding several species of tropical fish, monitoring and adjusting salinity, ensuring the filtration system is working properly, fixing any maintenance issues with the filtration system, and SCUBA diving in the tank. Other responsibilities include creating schedules for feeding, maintenance, and SCUBA diving as well as teaching incoming students how to properly handle aquarium maintenance both in and out of the tank. I also educate those who visit Saint Francis about the the fish in the tank and how the tank operates.

Worked at Safe Haven for Cats as a volunteer. I worked daily two-hour shifts where I learned proper husbandry for cats. I learned shelter protocols which included cat intake, observation, treatment, and adoption. I also assessed cat behavior to look for signs of illness or stress. I earned volunteer of the month for January 2021.
