Jacquelyn Ashford Thompson is the founder, pastor, and CEO of A Place To Pray Ministries, Inc. She has always been passionate about her own personal prayer life, but found that others seemed to struggle in this area of their Christian journey. So in April 2010, she founded A Place To Pray Ministries, Inc., to help the followers of Christ learn, discern, and understand the power of prayer. Her philosphy is that believers need to understand that the Holy Spirit is a comforter and that by utilizing the Holy Spirit they can have a more powerful prayer life.Before she began A Place To Pray Ministries, Inc., she was an intercessor at Greater Mount Carmel Christ of God In Christ in Berlin, New Jersey for ten years. At Greater Mount Carmel, she helped set up and organize prayer teams and various women’s ministries. She also set up women’s prayer ministries throughout Southern New Jersey. Mrs. Thompson attended Deliverance Evangelistic Bible Institute in Philadelphia, PA where she studied ministry. After 25 years in the development and real estate industries, the Lord lead her to use her entrepreneurial skills in full time ministry and she has answered his voice.
