Associate Director Of Living And Learning For Fraternity And Sorority Life
CurrentLeads living and learning functional area for the Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life and oversees Greek Village operations through the management of university-owned housing, Greek Village development, supervision of 14 live-in staff, curriculum development and programming, and overseeing the administrative operation.- Manages 8 University-owned fraternity and sorority houses and properties, including 3 new properties: Chapter Commons, Greek Village Townhomes, and Greek Village Apartments- Select, supervise, train and evaluate a total of 14 live-in staff (four 10-month contract graduate-level staff Chapter Resident Directors, two 12-month, full-time Coordinators, and eight 10-month contract full-time House Directors) and 1 graduate intern- Coordinate maintenance work orders, housekeeping services, grounds management and facility improvements, including project coordination and selection of finishes- Oversee University lease process including renewals, addendums, and letters of agreement for current and new tenants- Organize regular meetings with Greek Village staff, alumni advisors, and house corporation officers- Manage on-call emergency response for university-owned properties- Serve as leadership on call 24/7 for Greek Village- Participate in design and construction and maintenance of Greek Village master plan, including including managing common area amenities- Develop a curriculum of programs relevant to both the residential Greek experience and member health and wellness.- Oversee housing application, assignments, cancellation, and student billing processes utilizing StarRez- Manage Greek Village billing receivables/expenditures and distribution of funds to House Corporations- Responsible for publications and manuals including Greek Village Guide to Living and House Directors Manual- Approve work orders and expenditures related to facility operations- Prepare annual budget requests, bi-weekly staff reports and end of year documentation
