Retail Chain Account Manager
CurrentCorporate account manager responsible for distributor business in select off-premise chain accounts for the state of North Carolina. Maintain and develop rapport with wine and beer suppliers, as well as regional chain buyer relationships. Facilitation and communication of wine and beer related programming to off premise statewide sales force (5 branches). Responsibilities:• Notification to all Empire branches located in the state of North Carolina on upcoming monthly wine and beer programming, as well as forecasting inventory and direct problem solving issues.• In- field surveys to analyze execution of wine and beer programs and pricing. Follow up tracking and analysis to report program results to Empire sales managers and regional buyers. • Regular buyer meetings at the Regional and National level. Closing and negotiation skills for presenting and selling new programs, new items, creative problem solving, and more. Participation in yearly/ quarterly reset validations. • Analysis of Nielsen data for supplier brands and tracking trends for future chain program needs. • Generation of reports and data internally and externally using Retail Link, VIP, Diver, and SAP programs. Daily work in power point and excel at an advanced level to develop data into actionable information.
