About Jacquelyn Kotar, Crm, Cpg
I started my professional career with the YMCA of Fort Worth as a lifeguard at the age of 16; the Y is where I became an adult. During my early program and operations roles, I quickly developed a passion for training to perfection, identifying problems and developing systems to solve them, and turning high-risk areas into safe programs where communities come together to learn, grow and thrive. My aptitude and passion paved the way for me to develop expertise in Risk, Compliance, Training, Talent Development, and Resource Development. Throughout my YMCA career, my proudest accomplishments and lasting impacts have been: • Building and launching Fort Worth YMCA's very own Talent Develop Model, incorporating formal coursework, professional coaching and mentoring, and on the job training. • Revamping Sexual Abuse Prevention policies, training, and standards, obtaining Praesidium Accreditation, and educating 1000+ YMCA employees and volunteers on prevention, recognition, and reporting to stop sexual abuse in our community.• Developing the intentional and purpose-built Fort Worth YMCA Career Passport, onboarding new leaders to our organization, and orienting them to our YMCA Mission, Vision, and Culture.• Mid-Summer, and incredibly quickly, mobilizing a team of certified staff to bring water safety to apartment communities where children are often left unsupervised throughout their parent’s workday to solve the immediate community drowning crisis in the summer of 2015, and every year thereafter. The mission of the YMCA of Fort Worth is to put Christian principles into practice through programs, services, and relationships that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. As a cause-driven leader for over 18 years, I've had the opportunity to live our mission every day. I’ve had the privilege to impact thousands of lives through my programs and training. I’ve had the chance to show up when people need it the most, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other dimension that may differentiate one person from another. We’re FOR ALL. It’s who we are and what we do. Every day, I’m inspired by the mission of the YMCA and driven by the impact we make collectively as an organization.
