Responsible to place all non-inventory purchases and to maintain stock for all company supplies, and was given two out of four of the company’s inventory product lines to maintain their stock. Also responsible for entering, keeping track of and filing Purchase Orders, processing debit and credit memos, contacting and building a relationship with vendors, and had to receive and invoice all delivered product from our Purchase Orders (both non-inventory and inventory) into our Mas200 Sage ERP program. Each month was responsible for conducting a Safety Inspection of both company warehouses and offices, and as an ISO Auditor, was also responsible for performing internal audits and issuing corrective and preventative actions for the company. Also responsible for writing and correcting processes, interviews, press releases and the company quality manual.

Working as the company’s only receptionist, one had to answer and transfer all calls to the company, guard the front entrance, greet clients, vendors and potential customers, make coffee, file and check all Sales Orders, Purchase Orders and Invoices, ship parcels/documentation (Fed Ex, UPS and TNT), sent out all Invoices to customers (fax, mail and email), check and post freight Invoices. On occasion, had to fill in for the Freight Coordinator (get quotes for all shipments going out to customers, schedule the orders for shipment, prepare appropriate documentation –ex: NAFTA/CAFTAs, BOLs, and made sure all orders were picked up).
