In my current position I need to not only exhibit the skill set necessary to execute a menu. I am responsible for scheduling, hiring, training of all kitchen members. I am the direct supervisor of a twenty two member kitchen team. On weekly bases, forecasting sales and food cost, profit and loss statement, vendor selection, and weekly ordering. Assist in annual budget, review purveyors bids for future contracts; maintain all repair and maintenance contracts for building. Occasionally preform front of house managerial responsibilities.

As an intern with J.Alexander’s completed a ten week program that was capped off with a final project. Program focused on preforming all positions in the building; spending four days to a week in each station. Final project focused on what the particular location needed to improve service and therefore sales.

As a Darden Restaurants intern completed a ten week program; with the intent to understand how the managerial system was ran. Internship focused on progression through kitchen positions as well as all managerial duties performed by each manager.
