Office duties included but not limited to answering phones, directing calls, taking messages, answering emails, organizing files, submitting paperwork, making schedules, managing team members, Submitting hours for employees, hiring and firing, Doing inventory, depositing money as well as ordering products.

I currently make schedules for other stylist, Make appointments for clients and handle any and all interviews as well as customer service for clients and stylists. I handle payments to and from clients and stylists as well as opening and closing duties for the salon.

I managed all the drivers that delivered newspapers to the surrounding stores to make sure the stores received prompt and excellent service from the company. I also filled in with delivering routes when someone called out of work. I was in charge of time cards as well as payroll for my employees. I did billing to the stores and independent contractors. I also prepared reports and made appointment as well as managing customer service.Achievements:I was given a raise within the first 30 days of accepting this new position as well as a company car plus additional reimbursements and new resources to perform my job better as far as increasing their single copy quota each month. I also received employee of the month as well as a bonus 2 times while being in this position.

I managed all the independent contractors in my district. I made sure that the customers were receiving excellent service. I also wrote many reports. I dealt with paychecks for the contractors as well as making sure that they had everything that they needed to perform their duties. I learned excel as well as data bases such as DSI and Microsoft word and Works. I would have to say that the most important part of my job here was to improve marketing and selling the newspaper. Many,many times I would set up arrangements to go out on foot and make sales out in the neighborhoods of my districts.
