Throughout my 40+ year career, I have directed numerous strategic engagements in Europe, the Middle East, North America and Africa. My particular focus is on economic appraisal, health system design, health financing, strategic purchasing, population health management, integrated care, workforce transformation and digital health. I am an experienced policy appraisal and evaluation practitioner. I have worked in many areas of healthcare throughout my career. My experience includes: the economics of public health; service and care-pathway design across all diseases and population groups; healthcare systems including contracting and financing; and access to healthcare and disparities for vulnerable groups. My recent interests include value-based healthcare systems, integrated health and social care and the role of digital health and workforce transformation in accelerating improvement. I was a founding convenor of the joint Campbell and Cochrane Economics Methods Group and for 15 years was a committee member of the Campbell Collaboration Crime and Justice Coordinating Group.I regularly speaks at international events and chair panels at national and international academic and industry conferences.
