Team leader with management abilities which include: Managing the exploration office, budgeting, reporting and hard rock mine site establishment (Iron ore and Chrome).

Ensuring compliance to the Mine Health and Safety Act (legal appointment: Manager – Exploration (S) 3 (1) for Limpopo exploration projects). Responsible for quarterly JV reporting. Design and implementation of an environmental management system. Accountable for compliance with the EMP and other relevant legislation.

Accountable for daily updates to an international corporate office (Perth, Australia). Compiling of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports. Management of prospecting rights and renewals. Assessing the compliance to the EMP and annually reporting to the DMR in accordance with the MPRDA. Managing the Thabazimbi exploration office including: project and target generation, annual budgeting and cost reporting, motivating and managing exploration staff. Cataloguing historical data into the database. Conducting surface exploration activities (Field mapping, GIS, sampling and sample preparation). Design and managing of surface drilling operations and core yard activities (Logging, sampling, QAQC, database entry and core and RC sample storage). Utilizing 3D modelling (geomorphology and geochemistry) for ore body delineation.
