I rotated through all the different microbiology benches,acquiring experience in staining techniques, microscopy and culture methodologies.Additionally, I spent time on the MALDI-TOF mass spectrometer and the VITEK. Inhematology I gained experience in blood typing, blood smear and staining, as well asmicroscopy and machines like Aquios flow cytometry and Sysmex XN & CS-2100i.
