About Jacques Foisy
General Partner at Novacap, one of the leading private equity and buyout firms in Canada focused on building world-class companies in two sectors: TMT and Industries. Prior to joining Novacap in 1994, I spent 12 years at a hog processing company. I started as Chief-accountant in 1983 and grew to the position of CFO which I occupied from 1988 to 1990. My involvment in numerous mergers and acquisitions helped the company in becoming the largest hog processing business in Canada. In 1990, Olympia merged with Turcotte & Turmel to become Olymel where I held the role of CFO from 1990 to 1994. I started my career with KPMG in the audit sector.
