A Civil Engineer, I am a project manager with extensive experience in railway project planning, engineering and implementation. In a career spanning 24 years as a railway professional, I have contributed to many freight and passenger railway infrastructure and transportation studies. I have also held key roles on several major railway construction projects, including the construction/rehabilitation of 350 km of mixed passenger/freight railway mainline in Bangladesh, the rehabilitation of a 240 km mining railway in Liberia, and the construction of a new mine rail yard and load-out facility in Guinea. As a project manager, I have successfully led numerous projects, including studies addressing capacity-driven railway infrastructure improvements, the detailed design and construction of a mainline and yard tracks, and several concept, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies of railways relating to mining projects in West Africa, Asia, and South America (iron ore, bauxite, coal) and of mixed-use railways (Oman, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, East Africa). I am fluent and have strong report writing skills in both English and French.
