RSIE has two divisions - Educational Materials Development (EMD) and Study Abroad Facilitation (SAF). Our EMD division works for texbook publishers as subject matter experts to develop educational materials for textbooks and related products such as websites and Instructors Manuals. We edit, create and update materials such as powerpoints, question and test banks, and instructor's manuals. We review materials to make sure they conform to standards if accessability, diversity and inclusivity. We write alt text for all educational materials materials and have graphic designers with expertise in biology and environmental sciences to create images for learning materials. We also translate technical material from English into German, Thai or Spanish and vice versa.Our SAF Division specializes in study broad programs to Thailand. Programs include medical shadowing and volunteer work for pre-med, pre-health oriented students, shadowing in zoos for pre-veterinary students, community development programs, and courses on tropical ecology and environmental sciences. Students can enroll individually directly through our organization or we can facilitate faculty led programs for universities.
