CurrentKAYA BEACH is a specialist outdoor restaurant set in a cosy island style, with beach sand and marine décor items that make up a unique and homely outdoor atmosphere. Wooden chairs and benches set in the sand, with a large central fire pit, set the scene. Fishing nets and an old boat adorn the wooden and canvass undercover structure emphasising the nautical ‘island’ theme. The ‘island’ is exceptionally friendly for families of all ages. There is ample space for kids to run around and play in the sand. There is also a designated play area with jungle gyms etc., however, not only do they go home exhausted from all the running about, but their little minds are also worked, as they play imaginary pirate games. A variety of meat and fish dishes, that cater for all taste pallets, are served in courses from a pre-set menu. Cooked in ‘potjie’ pots and served from the pot from a centralised wooden platform allows patrons the opportunity to help themselves to as much delicious and authentic, traditional food as their hearts desire. Patrons can kick back, relax and enjoy the carefree atmosphere under African skies.
