The weekly expenses were reconciled at the end of each week.•Planning and supervising all projects on the farm. Finding solutions to problems that arise around the farm and planning to build new infrastructure that the owner wants; planning the best way to overcome these problems, consulting relevant service providers; drawing up a bill of materials needed for the project including estimated cost of the project, estimated time to complete project; once approved by the owner sourcing and procuring materials needed for the project or working with service providers to implement the project: then implementing the solution through workplans for the three farm staff in my team. •Planning and implementing weekly workplans for the three farm workers in my team. Planning a day-to-day list of work for each farm worker around the farm this included routine duties along with other non-routine duties and unexpected/unplanned work. •Attending to all general maintenance requirements of the stud from replacing light fittings, to installing day-night sensors for spotlights; from reattaching broken fence wires, to replacing roof sheeting, from replacing burst waterpipes, replacing taps and plumbing fittings, to installing new water pipes.•Assisting the stud manageress and stud owner when and where required. •Planning weekly rosters for eight staff members which includes working on weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis. Ensuring there is always a minimum number of senior workers on duty over weekends and public holidays. Planning the mandatory leave with a minimal disturbance to work that needs to be done.
