One of 2 initial developers that started at Vertical Solutions, whereby we where assigned to maintain and upgrade a Debtor Management system (DMS), which is designed to assist the control and tracking of Debtors for various large companies including Morkels, Bears etc, Nationally.Primary Duties included:Developing and upgrading sub-sections of the DMS system, in order to cater for the Municipality sector. The duration for the "mini-project" was approximately 8 months.There after we provided support and maintenance of the system.Technological Tools used:The system was designed in ASP classic using IIS6 and MS SQL 2000.Report Queuing Engine was designed and built in VB6.

Worked at Arivia.kom PE branch as a trainee 2nd line Support Analyst, which involved hardware support, including PC and Printer repairs, for large companies which included the Department of Water Affairs, SARS and the Department of Defense Force. This position entails Assessing, Troubleshooting and Resolving All Hardware related faults for Clients machines on site, which exposed me tremendously to dealing first hand with clients and their working environment.I have also been exposed to First Line support for Eskom, whereby we remotely access client's machines, to resolve their faults using software tools like Net Meeting and Zen.
