I believe in test driven development and that today's developer should use the tools available to him/her.I excell at all aspects of the development life cycle. I have proven experience in requirements gathering, spec writing, development of large scale SOA applications, testing of applications and post-delivery customer support. As a senior programmer I understand that written code is never perfect, but I always strive to write code that is elegant, efficient and maintainable.The section below best describes my personality and view on life: “I wrote a Java program to create a résumé for me but there were some “feature” issues. When calling the getFlaws method in package Jacques.Lazare.Flaws a NullPointerException was caught and re-thrown as a NoClassDefFoundError. When accessing the static method Jacques.Lazare.Strengths.getNumerousStrengths a StackOverflowError exception was traced and reported. JUNIT tests showed 100% code coverage but Jenkins could not compute. Polymorphism was considered but a new instance could not be instantiated. Considering the above I ran debugging software but I could not get past an OutOfBoundsException.”
