Manitoba Public Insurance afforded me many career and educational opportunities that I am truly grateful for. As a leader, I have always measured my success by the success of those I lead. Leadership to me is about getting individuals and teams to a place they would not have got to on their own. It’s about removing barriers that are getting in the way and involving them in decisions whenever possible. I cultivate a company culture in which staff members feel comfortable voicing questions and concerns, as well as contributing new ideas that drive continuous improvement. I urge others to ask themselves why we do the things we do and to continuously seek out better ways.My energy, motivation and work ethic spreads over to other employees.
