Fundamental is a provider of investment management software to asset management clients in Southern Africa. My role is to head up the Consulting and Pre-Sales team responsible for providing professional consulting services to new and existing clients . Services include business development for existing clients, and the on-boarding of new clients starting with the pre-sales process right through to data migration and a successful business process implementation that meet the client’s requirements and expectations.As senior management, I'm involved in the strategic business planning and development of Fundamental Software.

General Responsibilities: My role as Senior Consultant is to project manage the implementation of Fundamental's software package at new clients, business analysis, pre-sales and maintaining current client relationships.Typical Implementation Responsibilities:• Pre-Sales: Conducting demos to present FPM to prospective clients.• Project Management: Draft a Business Case and Project Initition Document (Project Charter ) which form the basis for all management efforts associated with the Implementation Project. Ensure the project is completed within estimated time and quality scope.• Perform a GAP analylis workshop which serves as a basis for project scope and the estimation of the development required.• Assist Business Analysts with Functional Enhancement Specifications.• Consulting: Assist clients with streamlining processes in- and outside FPM. Assist with interfacing to and from FPM and reporting requirements. Assist with the Data Migration process from legacy systems. Assist with User Acceptance Testing. Conduct functional application training workshops.

- Regulation 28 Data management- Integration of financial instruments from External Sources into Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS)- Look through data for Reg28 compliance and reporting

Fundamental is an investment management software company, specializing in the provision of a single Product, The Fundamental Portfolio Manager (FPM) with a range of leading asset managers as clients.Responsibilities:General- Continuous improvement of processes and proceduresBusiness Analysis- Identify development areas and new functionalities in the software.- Intensive communications with Development team regarding the new functionalities in the software.Quality Assurance- Responsible for the identification and logging of defects that are present in the product. - Work closely with the development team in the compilation of Test Cases for elements of the product.- Test different scenarios created during Release Test preparations on all Operation Systems supported by the product. - Ensure that software meets highest quality.- Ensure that deadlines are met.
