Gaining substantial expertise over multiple mining facets and disciplines during his tenure as a contractor, he then moved on to consulting to spearhead DRA Global’s new mining contracting company, Minopex Mining Operations. Following on from the valuable experience gained over his career he then accepted the role of General Manager at Northam Platinum’s Eland Platinum mine from 2017, where he was responsible for the re-opening of the mine for Northam after Glencor closed it in 2015.
