About Jacques Sarr
One of student turned 100 years old in April 2017 and he speaks and sings in French. My youngest is 6 years old. I speak 9 languages with a strong background and a great passion for teaching, translation, interpretation and higher education. For years I am using my pedagogic and communication skills to teach Americans 1 on 1, and small group. By teaching beginners and high advanced, I developed my foreign language teaching skills and gain awareness of many issues Americans are facing to learn French. With my interpersonal skills, I develop friendly relationships with my students and enjoy the progress they make. One of my students is an Indian nurse who never learned French before I met her. She wanted to immigrate to Quebec. Within 1 month I taught her some conversation tips. She flew to New York where she had 1 hour interview all in French and passed her test. In addition to my work experiences, I take every opportunity possible to prepare myself improving continually my teaching and speaking new langues skills. My experiences combined to continuing education and researches increase my efficiency on French teachings. All of these professional, academic, and extracurricular experiences expose me to different types of students from many levels, background, and age. I am passionately committed to provide high quality education and efficiency always optimizing the time for any student through my academic and professional training, passion for helping students, and skills I gain in the USA.
