Procuring and Managing Raw materials on the Metallics (Scrap) side for AMSA South Africa.Part of the responsibilities is to have monthly negotiation with suppliers wrt prices, volumes and quality. Keep tracking of Global prices. Leasing with plants wrt requirements and stock levels. Expediting all flows to the different BU`s of AMSA. Settle any disagreements/disputes between AMSA and supplier for fairness and to maintaining a good relationship with suppliers.

1600t Forging Plant at Iscor Vereeniging Klipworks.The responsibility of the Master Blacksmith/Shift Forman was to plan and execute the daily production. Forging is the manufacturing process involving the shaping of metal using compressed forces. Product range consisted of various shapes: Round forgings, Square forgings, Flat forgings, Step forgings, Rings, discs and block was also forged.

Responsable for maintenace in the Iscor Vereeniging Klipworks production plants.As a Millwright I was responsible for the maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.Repairing and fixing heavy machinery to limit standing time.Area of responsibility was in Melt shop , Machine shop, Forging plants, Cranes, Inspection plants and electrical work in the offices.
