Jacques de CHILLY, has been appointed as Deputy General Manager of Lyon Metropolis in charge of economic development and job creation in June 2015. He was the Executive Director of Aderly, Lyon region development agency since April 2006. Aderly is one of the leading investment promotion agencies in France with a budget of 6M€ and a staff of 40 people. It has attracted 63 new investment within the Lyon region in 2010. Jacques has a long experience in economic development and innovation. From 1999 to 2006 he held the position of Executive Director of Ouest Atlantique, Western France Economic Development Agency and was the founder of the World Investment Conference in La Baule. Previously he held various responsibilities including Founder and CEO of Sophia Antipolis based company TSD where he conducted a wide number of missions worldwide for private and public clients in the filed of innovation and technology transfer (1987 – 1999) and was an expert for the World Bank and the European Commission, Economic Development Director of the City of Nantes (1985 – 1987) and Director at the French National Agency for Innovation (ANVAR) from 1979 to 1984 time during which he opened an office for ANVAR in the US.
