Since my arrival as the head of Aquabrass R&D with a mandate to focus on efficiencies in the analysis, design, development, testing and documenting of all the products and supporting tools, my team• Reviewed and updated much of the existing product-literature while also producing support material for all new items brought to market• Implemented systematic procedures to insure continuous product-improvement… already resulting in a dramatic reduction of recurring issues and of certain types of service calls.• Improved and re-designed several components to bring them up-to-date.• Collaborated with the different manufacturers teams to develop and bring to market numerous, properly adapted, faucet collections. • And completely restructured the BOM-approach for all new in-house collections. We established a “signature” set of common parts to use and combine when creating new collections (or rejuvenating older ones) allowing a faster response to clients needs and more flexibility for special projects while minimizing waste when comes the time to retire a collection.In parallel, we vastly enlarged the range of products covered within the different certification norms, agencies and processes.Finally, drawing on my extensive knowledge of the luxury bathroom/kitchen Industry, its connection with the Interior-Design world; and accounting for the manufacturing operations involved, I also contribute to the new-product selection process used both within Aquabrass and within AD Waters.

REM design is an independent consulting firm specializing in water-room products (bathrooms and powder rooms, inside and outside kitchens, pool-side showers and SPAs) that design or adapt unique products as may be required; or develop integrated “for distribution” solutions.REM design is the creative entity behind such products as the “Easy-Fit”, a vastly simplified installation solution for free-standing faucets, the "Safe-T-Flow" bath filling system; the universal diverter; a single body capable of 2- and 3-way functions, in a shared and a non-shared configuration, with or without an on/off function.  In the context of Aquabrass, this unique solution vastly simplified the manufacturing and distribution challenges within a fraction of the cost required to do it with multiple independent bodies. Similarly, Aquabrass adopted numerous other significant product-improvements which allowed an increase functionality while reducing the associated stocking and distribution costs (ex: combining ¾” and ½” inlets on the same thermostat mixers to reduce inventory duplicate…)REM design is also the title owner of multiple patents (see attachments).
