As the team's Chief Mechanical Designer I was responsible for designing, prototyping and providing the team with ready to be manufactured designs of the canoe as per the competition's specifications. I held this position for 4 consecutive iterations of the competition, each year building on the experiences gain from the previous one.For two iterations of the competition, I was responsible for preparing and delivering the visual and oral presentation. Our new canoe manufacturing process brought us an innovation award during the 2011 iteration of the competition. Also, the presentation which I prepared and delivered during that same year got ranked 3rd overall.Software use: Pro/Engineer, Auto-CAD, Ansys Workbench, FluidFlow

During my undergraduate years, I participated in various engineering projects and activities such as the Atlantic and National Engineering Competitions, Canadian National Concrete Canoe Competition, Frostweek organizational committee and In class teacher's assistant.
