Hired by the Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation (Netherlands), as part of the "Développement des Formations Professionnelles Continues dans le secteur de l’Agriculture" project. Responsible for the development and in-country delivery of two intensive hands-on programs for university faculty teaching in agriculture and community development: 1. Principles and methods for developing distance education materials; and 2. Design and production of online courses using Moodle. In addition to developing and teaching the programs, extensive printed and online materials were also left with the participants for continued use.

Principal designer and producer of “Agir en faveur du développement durable”, an online course intended to inform and motivate over 8,000 employees on the company’s Sustainable Development Action Plan. Built using Articulate Studio, the course tells the story of employees who have personally implemented one of 10 actions in the Plan. Project completed in collaboration with Le CLAIR Conseil.

External advisor on design, technology and implementation for this award-winning $2.5 million initiative providing over 450 hours of online French language learning to prospective Québec immigrants all over the world. The project received a “Mérites TI” award, and more than 5,500 students currently use the Francisation en ligne materials, resutling in over 40% savings for the Ministry, compared to conventional methods.

Initiated the Natural Step e-learning venture in 2003; designed the Sustainability Step by Natural Step series of award-winning e-courses now completed by 100,000+ learners around the world. Worked in partnership with content experts at TNS and a course development team at TM NewMedia. Led the design effort for various derivative versions of the original course.

Sole author of two popular reports profiling the instructional design and business best practices of Excellence in E-Learning Award winning programs and courses. Part of the LMS evaluation and review team. Co-author of "Making E-Learning Work in the Nonprofit Sector."

Prior to its sale to CGI Group, with partners Louis Rodrigue and Marc Blais, helped grow this custom IT training firm to $4 million in sales, and a workforce of over 40 professionals. Played a variety of roles, including strategic management, business development, proposal writing, completing strategic client mandates, directing R&D projects, coaching staff, developing and maintaining a training methodology that is still in use at CGI, Hydro-Québec and elsewhere.
