My role involves defining, implementing, and managing specialized service delivery in the claims process while mitigating risks in claims cost that align with the Short Term Insurance business strategy. I direct and manage policy administration, retention, and claims repair across personal and non-personal lines through both direct and indirect channels within the Claims, Cost, and Risk Division. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure the sustainability of the STI business through profitable best practice applications of specialized claims risk and cost, and fulfilment of the customer experience during the claims process.

During this period, I was also seconded to a Business Improvement project which was embarked on with Renoir Consulting for a period of 18 months allowing me the opportunity to hone my skills to design and implement business strategies.

My career within Telesure started in July 2005, where I was appointed as a Loss Adjuster responsible for the investigation of possible fraudulent insurance claims ranging from vehicle accidents, burglaries and stolen vehicles. June 2007 I was promoted to team manager for Loss Adjusting/Investigations in the Eastern Cape, which included the management of 5 Loss Adjusters based in the province.January 2008 I was promoted to Business Manager initially in the Eastern Cape, later the Eastern Cape and KZN.
