After leaving Coventry City Council I am delighted to be able to now say my work is also now my passion C.C.S. is a not for profit organisation committed to developing partnerships that promote and deliver low carbon solutions. We do this by running events and networks which bring together suppliers of innovative technologies and solutions with potential customers and partners. As we are a very small organisation my role includes everything from Project Initiation and Delivery, Marketing including social media, and many of the day to day tasks of running a company. A thoroughly interesting and rewarding role. work on 2 main projects . The annual UK Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Conference , which takes place at the NEC Birmingham UK . After am extremely successful 2021 conference we are extending the area we will utilize ready for the 2022 conference due to take place on the 28th June 2022. I have also run smaller regional showcases which compliment the main conference.I also run an annual Sustainability event again in Birmingham. I used to run the event in collaboration with David Middleton who sadly passed away in May 2020. The conference , now named after him gives attendees the opportunity to network, share knowledge and hear from some great speakers. It is now run on a not for profit basis with all proceeds going to WaterAid

Working often in partnership with Warwickshire County Council to attract investment to the sub region. Focus on Advanced Engineering , Digital/ICT and HQ functions . The Destinaiton Marketing team main focus is on Business Tourism - utilising the 2 internationally recognised facilities at the Ricoh Arena and the University of Warwick to sell the wider area.

Heads up a team which are resposnible for attracting investment to Coventry. The focus of the work is on attracting Public sector relocation, retail development and companies from the technology sectors. A large part of the role also involves working with the property sector in all its guises to profile the opportunities in the city.
