I initially joined Ferrier Hodgson (who were an insolvency practice working with companies to resolve their financial situation) in 2008 and continued to work for this part of the business when it was subsequently acquired by KPMG. Duties performed as follows:• Senior Personal Assistant to partners (including Managing Partner)• Provide executive support to Directors, Accountants and Management • Partner Diary Management • Production/editing of client reports, PowerPoint presentations, large mail merges and circulars • Scheduling of internal and external meetings • Booking domestic and international travel and accommodation• Managing communications – email, telephone, incoming and outgoing mail• MYOB Insolvency – uploading data• Billing – create WIP and Debtor Reports• Partner timesheet entry• Lodge documents via the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) liquidator portal website• Submit Insolvency Notices via the ASIC Published Notices website • Conduct Company Searches• Provide support for Valuations team – supporting Partner / Director to create Invoices and running financial reports• Relief receptionKey Achievements - Gaining new experience in the Insolvency and Restructuring sector - Helping to represent the company at events consisting of 300+ clients
