Currently working with groups of unemployed adults, helping learners obtain and maintain sustainable employment, my duties include, instruction in: Team working, rights and responsibilities in the workplace, searching and applying for jobs, C.V. Building, letter writing, the filling in of application forms, and interview techniques. I have over 20 years’ experience in the Customer Service area and I have worked in the public sector for Stockport Council. I have experience in presenting information to groups, problem solving, leadership skills and team building. I am fully aware of the importance of safety issues in the workplace and have experience following health and safety procedures. I am able to stay calm under pressure and can be tactful when dealing with demanding customers, which has included customers which have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol. I have excellent IT skills, which include Word, Excel, Access and Publisher which I used every day, for example: entering data, e-mailing and producing charts, document’s and counting stock items.
