- Develop, implement and review SYC's internal audit program.- Manage the audit team and activities.- Prepare and present audit reports to the Executive, Board and Committees.- Manage the relationship with Certification bodies and/or quality accreditation organisations to schedule and manage the external audits.- Contribute to the development, implementation, review and maintenance of SYC's Integrated Management System.

- Work collaboratively with divisional managers and their teams for the provision of specialist audit, risk and compliance support, technical input and expert advice to improve the effectiveness of governance processes, control and compliance and quality and risk management.- Conduct accurate, professional and timely audit related services across all SYC Divisions including internal audit, compliance management, internal control frameworks, established systems and SYC’s policies, procedures and processes.- Provide high level advice and supervision to the Internal Audit team.- Contribute to the management of quality and accreditation systems across SYC and actively support a continual improvement focus.- Provide helpful and practical expert advice, support and recommendations to management and employees on a range of complex internal audit, compliance, audit and risk management matters, in accordance with established policies and procedures, legislative requirements and professional standards.- Assist in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of a document management system to manage the control and review of SYC system documentation.- Assist in the review and updating process for SYC policy and procedure including the development and implementation of audit related procedures and practices consistent with applicable legislation and regulations, recognised Standards and ‘best practice’.- Liaise and assist as required with external auditors and/or quality accreditation organisations.

Syc - Training Prospects
