As an Operations Specialist in Advancement and External Affairs for Syracuse University, I coordinate and support various administrative functions and projects as well as assist the Senior Vice President and Chief Advancement Officer and the Vice President of Advancement for Academic Affairs. My core competencies include problem solving, accounting, process improvement, and creativity. I leverage these skills to create and implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the office operations. I also use my mindfulness and communication skills to connect and collaborate with students, faculty, staff, and community members, and to provide excellent customer service and problem-solving. I am passionate about working in higher education, as it allows me to contribute to the academic mission and vision of the university, and to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Before joining SU, I worked as a chocolatier for Sweet On Chocolate, where I discovered the joy of creating and sharing delicious treats. This experience inspired me to pursue my passions and to find meaning and purpose in my work. I am excited for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead, and I welcome any collaboration or feedback that can help me grow and learn.
