Specialist obstetrician & gynaecologist, initially as VMO with a half-time private practice, then as full-time staff specialist including a period as Clinical Director of Womens & Childrens services, and latterly involved part-time again principally in clinical audit. Interests include high risk pregnancy management, performance and teaching of vaginal surgery, and colposcopy and management of dysplasia.

Technical analysis of healthcare complaints, technical support for the Commissioner and conciliators, and participation in mediations and pre-mediation conferences with complainants and respondents.

Co-ordination of the Perinatal Emergency Referral Service, now co-located at RCH with NETS & PETS.
