This included a new leadership programme for SGBs.I was responsible for the development of a programme of governance support to SGB Boards including the delivery of workshops, providing direct support and advice and also deploying wider resources around policy and strategy to a range of SGBs.I chose to become part of a Ministerial Working group for Women in Sport with a sub-group responsibility to look at getting more women into leadership positions across the sporting sector.Proactive and reactive attendance at meetings and events to further promote sportscotland work both locally and nationally was a crucial part of my role.I had to demonstrate effective communication between internal colleagues, partners, SGBs, training providers and other external agencies including Scottish Government.

I had responsibility for course design for a six-week module around sport operations management and delivery of the lectures and tutorials to 21 students (most of whom were international).I arranged visits and guest speakers from across the sporting sector, set the assignment question, dealt with student enquiries, and then marked the submissions.The role also involved liaising with the external examiner to discuss future amendments to the course.I also took on supervision and mentoring of a dissertation student completing a piece of research around Stakeholder Perceptions of Talent Identification and Development in Scotland.
