About Jacqui Bertrem
Beginning my career in Property Management set a solid foundation for a knowledge in construction and remodeling. Moving into Claims Adjusting in 2000, I have worked field and desk claims in all aspects of property claims such as fire, flood, wind, hail, ice dam, sewer back up, etc. I have worked primarily as a desk adjuster handling daily claims, CAT claims, E&S carrier claims for residential, commercial and multi-family properties. I am also experienced in the management of arbitration claims and settlement. I spent a great deal of time in DC working with FEMA on the Hurricane Sandy Task Force. I was involved in the review of Hurricane Sandy claims, discussions with attorneys and/or Public Adjusters, and later responsible for Neutral review estimate writing and presentation of FEMA NFIP estimates and policy guidelines to JAMS Neutral and attorney/PA/insured during mediation of disputed flood claim files. I am NFIP Authorized for Dwelling, Commercial and RCBAP claims and have been flood authorized for over 20 years.
