Slow Down Sounds is an independent record label.====================As the company’s co-founder, I provide strategic and creative leadership for the business and perform all core functions for producing, marketing, and selling our quality vinyl records as well as managing business operations. Starting from a blank slate, I established the company’s operational infrastructure and success metrics. We have achieved a significant growth trajectory through both wholesale and direct-to-consumer ecommerce channels by focusing on high-value, high-potential products for our target segments.Relationship management is essential to this work for securing licensing agreements from artists and large record labels and for receiving quality products from our manufacturing partners. It is also critical for maintaining excellent results from our distribution partner who places our product with retailers.

Homeless Health Care Los Angeles is a nonprofit providing permanent supportive housing solutions for clients based on mental and physical health services. ====================Recruited back to head the fundraising function, I also rebranded and reshaped the organization to align its people and structure with its vision and mission. My efforts focused on recruiting new Board of Director members and providing them training on how to serve our growing organization. Working with the Board and the Executive Director, I facilitated strategic planning that rebranded our agency and established a roadmap for the next few years.From there, I built up our fundraising function including setting strategy, creating a plan, and hiring a Development Associate to help bring it to life. Through networking and meetings, we provided a compelling reason for donating and filled our donor database with new contacts.

My work focused on events, communications, and donor relationship building. I built the agency’s first donor database and expanded communications through a direct mail appeal and quarterly newsletter. I also planned and executed fundraising events, using personal connections to bring in entertainment industry executives to grow revenue.
